Why is one or more players gone after the start of the season?
At the start of the season, you receive all income (with the exception of ticket revenue). You must use this income to pay the expenses for the season. this includes, in particular, player salaries and the maintenance costs of all buildings. If the expenses exceed the income, there will be a financial deficit. The club owners will then sell the players with the highest market value to compensate for this deficit. In the finance section, you will find a forecast for the surplus or deficit at the start of the season on the right\-hand side. Tap on the forecast to get a more detailed breakdown of how the forecast is calculated.Bear in mind that the forecast can always change due to actions, even on the last match day. If you are threatened with a deficit, you should try to generate budget to prevent the sale of your best player(s).
